Nuvilla Home offers a combination of Ready‑to‑Ship, Made‑to‑Order (MTO), Custom and Bulk products.
1. Domestic Delivery Timeframes (Nigeria)
Many of our pieces are handcrafted by artisan partners and therefore require a fulfillment period before dispatch. For Domestic Delivery within Nigeria, the estimated delivery timeframe is as follows:
Lagos Metropolitan Area: 2‑5 business days after dispatch.
Outside Lagos: 5‑10 business days after dispatch.
2. International Delivery
Nuvilla Home accepts international orders.
For international orders, the estimated delivery timeframe is approximately 7–14 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination and delivery method.
This international delivery timeframe is separate from any applicable production or fulfilment period. For example, if an international customer purchases a Made‑to‑Order product, the applicable MTO production period occurs before the international shipping timeframe begins.
International shipping charges will be communicated based on the destination and applicable delivery method.
International delivery estimates may also be affected by customs clearance, destination‑country processing, courier schedules and other circumstances outside Nuvilla Home’s direct control.
Nuvilla Home will make a good‑faith effort to dispatch orders appropriately and assist customers where delivery issues arise, but precise delivery timing after an order has been transferred to a courier or delivery provider may be outside our direct control.
3. Order Types
To help set expectations, please note the distinction between the following order types:
Ready‑to‑Ship
Items currently in stock and available for dispatch shortly after the order is confirmed.
Made‑to‑Order (MTO)
Products manufactured or handcrafted after an order is placed and therefore requiring a production period before dispatch.
Custom Orders
Bespoke products created according to a customer’s specific measurements, dimensions, specifications, reference images or other requirements.
Bulk Orders
Orders of 10 or more pieces that may require additional production and coordination before dispatch.
4. Payment on Delivery (POD)
Payment on Delivery (POD) may be offered to eligible customers within the Lagos metropolitan area, where Nuvilla Home is headquartered.
POD is subject to confirmation by Nuvilla Home and is not automatically available for every Lagos‑area order.
For approved POD orders within the Lagos metropolitan area, payment must be completed at the point of delivery before the delivery/dispatch process is considered complete and the product is released to the customer.
For customers outside Lagos, payment is required in advance to confirm and begin processing an order.
POD is not available for:
Custom Orders
Bulk Orders
Custom and Bulk Orders remain subject to their respective advance‑payment or deposit requirements.
5. Bulk Orders
Bulk Orders have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) of 10 pieces.
Unless otherwise communicated for a particular order, the standard payment terms for Bulk Orders are:
A 50% deposit is required to confirm the order and begin production.
The outstanding 50% balance must be paid before the completed order is dispatched.
Bulk Orders have an estimated fulfilment timeframe of approximately 14 days, unless a different timeframe is communicated for a specific order.
Payment on Delivery (POD) is not available for Bulk Orders.
